On Monday 1 April 2024 Aquafit celebrated a remarkable milestone: our 20th anniversary. Whilst we are celebrating for the entire year, we marked the occasion with an official cake cutting ceremony with our members and team on Wednesday 3 April. This was a great opportunity to come together to celebrate the success, longevity and spirit of Aquafit.

Aquafit General Manager, Kristen Green, was joined by Campbelltown Catholic Club CEO, Michael Lavorato for the cake cutting, where she expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of Aquafit's incredible journey. Reminising about the early days when Aquafit was just a vision, Kristen praised the loyalty of our members and the dedication and expertise of our team.

Kristen's words reflected the deep sense of pride and appreciation felt by everyone at Aquafit. She highlighted how Aquafit stands out as a beacon of excellence in the fitness industry, thanks to our unwavering commitment to our members' health and wellbeing, our strong sense of community, and our exceptional team.

As Kristen shared her reflections, it was evident that Aquafit is more than just a gym - it's a family. Our members and staff alike are united by a shared passion for health, wellness, and creating a supportive community.

The ceremony also provided an opportunity to honor and recognize the team members who have been with Aquafit since its inception. Kristen Green, Mirela Charlton, Maria Bellamy, Rita Goldsmith, Penny Lehtonen, and Tracey Ware – have been with us since day one and have been instrumental in shaping Aquafit's success. We are deeply grateful for your support over the last two decades.

It was also great to see many of our Foundation Members join us for the occasion. We still have an incredible 94 foundation members here at Aquafit – an achievement that is almost unheard of in the fitness industry. The loyalty of these members speaks to the strong sense of belonging and the fostering of relationships with our members that sets us apart from other gyms.

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to providing exceptional fitness experiences and fostering a supportive community for our members. Aquafit has thrived for 20 years because of the dedication and loyalty of our members and staff, and we look forward to many more years of success and growth together.
