Group Fitness is a great way to stay active and join a group of likeminded members as you work towards your fitness goals. All of our classes are run by qualified instructors and run for 45 mins.

Les Mills Virtual

LES MILLS Virtual is launching at Aquafit late October 2024!
Ready to take your first step into the world of virtual group fitness?

LES MILLS Virtual classes are cinematic-quality versions of our live group fitness classes. During the October launch, members can attend these virtual classes according to the timetable.

The first classes to launch will be LES MILLS Virtual RPM and Sprint. These classes are designed to complement our live instructor classes.

Over the following months a variety of virtual programs and class durations will also become available, so check the club’s timetable for details and give it a go!

Class Descriptions

 
Aqua Fitness

(Beginner to advanced) This is a shallow water cardiovascular workout. Low impact, with little choreography, designed to increase the heart rate. Great workout for abdominals, buttocks and thighs.

Aqua Lite

(All fitness levels) A gentle low impact class in shallow water. The water reducing impact on the joints by supporting up to 85% of body weight, making it a perfect environment for those with injuries or limitations.

Aqua Athletic

An intense full body athletic workout in shallow water, designed to improve your fitness, core stability, endurance and tone without the impact.


RPM

(All fitness levels) The ultimate group cycling experience "rock concert on wheels". RPM is a non-impact workout that has the capacity to burn up to 900 calories per hour. The ideal program for weight loss and suitable for all ages and abilities.


BodyBalance

(All fitness levels) Tones and strengthens all muscle groups as well as bringing calm and focus to the mind. It increases core strength, flexibility and mobility whilst improving co-ordination and balance. Using the combination of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates BODYBALANCE is the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life.

Interactive

A medium intensity class using body weight and a variety of equipment. This class will offer land based exercises to increase functional strength and fitness. All ages and fitness levels welcome.

Pilates

(All fitness levels) Is an exercise session in body awareness that provides you with the skills to master your own physical destiny. It consists of a series of exercises focusing on the abdominals, lower back and buttocks. Reshape your body by increasing muscle strength, flexibility and coordination. 

Yoga

Great for improving flexibility, this is a class for everybody. Combined body and mind awareness plus improved breathing techniques and stress management.


BodyAttack®

A high intensity workout made achievable through the simple, pre-choreographed nature of the program, making it easy for all participants to achieve their goals.

BodyBalance®

(All fitness levels) Tones and strengthens all muscle groups as well as bringing calm and focus to the mind. It increases core strength, flexibility and mobility whilst improving co-ordination and balance. Using the combination of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates BODYBALANCE is the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life.

BodyCombat®

Fight calories with this fun and empowering athletic workout. BODYCOMBAT is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Combining moves and stances from a range of self defence disciplines like Karate, Tai Chi, Kickboxing and Tae Kwondo will have you fighting fit in no time!

BodyPump®

(All fitness levels) A non-impact, resistance training program using barbells and easily adjustable weights. Ideal for muscle conditioning, shaping and toning as well as increasing strength, stamina and bone density. BODYPUMP is excellent for reducing body fat by building lean muscle mass subsequently raising your metabolic rate.

 

RPM®

(All fitness levels) The ultimate group cycling experience "rock concert on wheels". RPM is a non-impact workout that has the capacity to burn up to 900 calories per hour. The ideal program for weight loss and suitable for all ages and abilities.

CORE™

Inspired by elite athletic training principles, LES MILLS CORE™ is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do.

SPRINT™

A 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It's a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation come from pushing your physical and mental limits.

Vin-Yin Yoga

A blend of Vinyasa flow with quiet, relaxing and restorative aspects. Great for tension release.

Flow Yoga

Designed to strengthen and tone, flow brings together a variety of styles to connect movement, breath and mindfulness. This style of yoga is often referred to as ‘flow’ because it moves from one pose to another in a continuous, smooth way. 

Restorative Yoga

Also called gentle Yoga, this class is designed to relax, restore and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit through mellow movements, and longer held postures – for an atmosphere of ease and calm.

Restorative Yoga

New 15-minute free stretch classes designed to boost your flexibility, enhance mobility, and help with recovery. Perfect for all levels, promoting wellness and a deeper mind-body connection to your training.

A cardiovascular program that uses a height adjustable step. Providing a high energy cardio workout to music, Step features high intensity intervals followed by muscle conditioning tracks designed to shape and tone the entire lower body while pushing fat burning systems into high gear. Step is suitable for all fitness levels. 

Body Sculpt

A full body workout incorporating cardio & resistance exercises to burn fat and build lean muscle.

BoxFit

Boxfit is a high-intensity cardio workout based on boxing techniques using gloves and pad work. Suitable for all levels, this non-contact workout will improve your agility, strength and overall fitness.

 


Zumba®

The newest, hottest, Latin dance-inspired workout that has changed the face of fitness across the world! Zumba® uses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves as well as interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to create a calorie-burning and energizing workout while toning and sculpting your body. 

DanceFit

Suitable for all fitness levels, this fun, high energy workout features a mixture of different dance styles, aerobic and cardio fitness. All mixed into one class set to a blend of upbeat pumping music.

Cardio Dance 

A heart pumping cardiovascular workout utilising high energy dance-based movements set to music.
