In order to undertake some critical routine maintenance to the Lap Pool in particular, as well as the underground balance tank(s) and plant room operating system both pools require a short shutdown.
Unfortunately for this to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner, both pools and the surrounding hall will be closed to members and the general public from Monday 30 September until Sunday 13 October. During this time we will be;
- Re-membrane of lap pool overflow gutters
- Underground balance tank re-lining and repairs
- Back of house pool plant equipment upgrade
- Servicing to UV water sterilizing systems
To enable this to occur, pool water levels will be lowered & balance tanks emptied to allow for the gutters and tanks to dry out so the scope of work can be carried out efficiently
During this time we encourage pool users to try something new. We have a range of exercise classes on our group fitness timetables suited to all different fitness levels, abilities and needs. All members are also able to book in for a FREE personalised program with one of our qualified fitness instructors.
