• Aquafit wins GOLD Quality Award from Fitness Australia 3 years in a row!

  On Friday 24 October, Aquafit Campbelltown received a GOLD Quality Award from Fitness Australia for its proven ability to provide quality service across its business.

  Fitness Australia’s Health and Fitness Industry Quality Awards promote and celebrate industry excellence and the work the fitness industry does in helping Australians get and stay fit and healthy.

  The GOLD Quality Award is granted to a fitness business that has achieved quality in customer service, programs, people, safety and business management.

  “This is the third year that Aquafit  has received a GOLD Quality Award - the highest accolade that our industry can award to a fitness provider, and they should be proud of their achievement. Aquafit has maintained their quality service levels over the past 3 years and their customers can be confident that they are with one of the very best fitness providers in the country” said Ms Lauretta Stace, Chief Executive Office of Fitness Australia.

  “We are excited to receive the GOLD Quality Award again for the third year running, it is a great honour to be recognised by our colleagues for the service we provide to the community” said Kristen Green, Centre Manager at Aquafit.

  This is the third year that Fitness Australia, the industry’s peak body, is running the Awards and this year, 77 fitness businesses across Australia were granted a Quality Award.
   
  “Aquafit was built in 2004 by Campbelltown Catholic Club as part of our diversification strategy to offer additional services to our Member’s and the greater Macarthur community. Over the past decade Aquafit has earned a multitude of awards and has become an integral part of the local community in its own right” said Michael Lavorato, CEO at Campbelltown Catholic Club.

  “Given more than 60% of Australian adults are overweight or obese and with the increase in chronic conditions, we have a vital role to play in the health and fitness of our community. But with this role comes the responsibility of providing high quality programs and striving for continuous improvement. This Award is proof that we continue to deliver a quality service and we are committed to raising the bar even higher” said Ms Green.

  This year, Aquafit has undergone a significant transformation to expand, reinvigorate and refresh our services and facilities with a renewed focus on Health, Fitness & Wellbeing. The centre now features all new Technogym cardio and strength training equipment, world class Queenax Functional Training Zone and specialised Outdoor Training area along with our existing quality services our members have come to expect from Aquafit. This year has also seen us extend our partnership with ONTRAC Health Management Clinic to offer additional services including Remedial massage, physiotherapy, dietetics and more.  Our renewed facilities and services will ensure Aquafit remains at the forefront of the Australian Fitness Industry.
