Do you have to be a member of Campbelltown Catholic Club to use Aquafit?

Aquafit is a purpose built facility for the use of Campbelltown Catholic Club members. Membership at Aquafit is therefore only available to current and financial members of the Campbelltown Catholic Club

How old do I have to be to use Aquafit?

You must be at least 14 years old to be a member of Aquafit. Applicants under the age of 18 years need to have parent who is a member of Campbelltown Catholic Club present to sign a membership agreement. There are also certain restrictions on activities and facilities within the Centre based on age. Adult supervision is required for younger members of Aquafit.

Will I require a clearance from my doctor before I excercise?

In some situations, and dependent upon your health history, it may be recommended that you check with your doctor before commencing exercise. Most health professionals are happy to support your decision to exercise, and will be pleased to provide you with a clearance to exercise. This helps our Fitness staff understand your specific concerns in more detail. If you do have some health concerns, simply disclose this at the time of joining. Our staff are available to assist.

Is parking available?

Aquafit has over 250 dedicated free car parking spaces available for Aquafit members right outside the front door and over 700 free spaces available within the Precinct! Disabled spaces are also available for those with the relevant registration.

What should I wear?

Our members' find the atmosphere at Aquafit is relaxed, friendly and non intimidating. Just wear clothes that you feel comfortable exercising in. Gym shoes need to be worn at all times within the fitness area, and group exercise studios. It is essential that you use a towel whilst exercising, and one is provided for you as part of your "Starter Pack" when you join! No work clothes or jeans are to be worn whilst exercising.

What do I need to bring on my first visit?

In addition to a sense of fun!...your Aquafit backpack with your sweat towel, water bottle, headphones and your membership key tag (issued on the day you join).

What can I do with the kids whilst I am at the gym?

No problem. Aquafit members can make use of Kidz Korner. A purpose built crèche and child minding service is available for use by Aquafit members. For a small fee, you can feel confident leaving your children in the capable care of our child care staff.

How will I know what equipment to use at Aquafit?

As a new member of Aquafit, you will need to book in for your complimentary Fitness Assessment & Program. This is best done when you come in to join, and only takes a few minutes to arrange. All programs and assessments are done by our friendly, qualified team of Fitness Instructors. Additionally, there is always an instructor available to assist you whilst you are exercising, should you require additional help.

Will I need to book for Group Exercise Classes?

To participate in any of the Group Exercise and Aqua classes, you will need to ask Reception for a token for the class you will be doing. Simply allow a little extra time before the class to collect your token.
