Class Descriptions

Aqua

Absolute Aqua

(All fitness levels) Explore the dimensions of aqua by incorporating the shallow with the deep. This class primarily will be conducted in the shallow end of the 25 metre pool. Those of you confident in the deep will be given the opportunity to explore the benefits of deep water aqua with buoyancy belts. This is not compulsory as the class runs along the side of the pool. This 50 minutes class finishes with a fantastic abdominal workout (Lap Pool).

Aqua Deep

(Beginners to Advanced) A great cardiovascular workout using a buoyancy belt in the deep water. There is no impact on the joints making it a perfect environment for those with injuries or limitations. This is a 45 minute class suitable for beginners to advanced. Confidence in deep water is required.

Aqua Fitness

(Beginner to advanced) This is a shallow water cardiovascular workout. Low impact, with little choreography, designed to increase the heart rate. Great workout for abdominals, buttocks and thighs - 55 minute duration.

Aqua Lite

(All fitness levels) A gentle low impact class in shallow water. This is a 45 minute class to suit all fitness levels. The water reducing impact on the joints by supporting up to 85% of body weight, making it a perfect environment for those with injuries or limitations.

Early Rise Aqua

(All fitness levels) Wake yourself up with this shallow water aqua class. Minimal choreography that will suit all levels of fitness. You control the intensity, making it as hard or as easy as you like. This 45 minute class is a combination of cardio and resistance training.

Cycle

RPM

(All fitness levels) The ultimate group cycling experience "rock concert on wheels". RPM is a non-impact workout that has the capacity to burn up to 900 calories per hour. The ideal program for weight loss and suitable for all ages and abilities.

RPM Express

(All fitness levels) This class is a 30min class format, which excludes Track 2 Pace, Track 6 Speed
work and Track 7 Mountain climb. Plenty of workout and limit of rest.

Over 50's

BodyBalance

(All fitness levels) Tones and strengthens all muscle groups as well as bringing calm and focus to the mind. It increases core strength, flexibility and mobility whilst improving co-ordination and balance. Using the combination of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates BODYBALANCE is the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life.

Interactive

For the young at heart. A low intensity class designed just for you. This class will offer a variety of land based exercises to increase functional strength and fitness. So much fun you won't know you're exercising.

Pilates

(All fitness levels) Is an exercise session in body awareness that provides you with the skills to master your own physical destiny. It consists of a series of exercises focusing on the abdominals, lower back and buttocks. Reshape your body by increasing muscle strength, flexibility and coordination.

Relax Pilates

(All fitness levels) Is a great way for you to end your day, gently unwinding the body and mind with a soothing 60 minutes of stretch and relaxation exercises specifically designed to:

  • Increase flexibility and mobility

  • Improve posture preventing muscular imbalances

  • Prevent post-exercise tightness and soreness

  • Reduce stress and tension

Yoga

Great for improving flexibility, this is a class for everybody. Combined body and mind awareness plus improved breathing techniques and stress management.

A high intensity workout made achievable through the simple, pre-choreographed nature of the program, making it easy for all participants to achieve their goals.

BodyBalance

BodyPump

(All fitness levels) A non-impact, resistance training program using barbells and easily adjustable weights. Ideal for muscle conditioning, shaping and toning as well as increasing strength, stamina and bone density. BODYPUMP is excellent for reducing body fat by building lean muscle mass subsequently raising your metabolic rate.

BodyStep

A cardiovascular program that uses a height adjustable step. Providing a high energy cardio workout to music, BODYSTEP features high intensity intervals followed by muscle conditioning tracks designed to shape and tone the entire lower body while pushing fat burning systems into high gear. Circuit Combo

This class caters to ALL FITNESS LEVELS in a dynamic whole-body workout. Working in 1-minute intervals, we use BASIC, fundamental movements that target multiple muscle groups simultaneously to strengthen and tone whilst also providing a great cardiovascular challenge. If it's all-over strength, stability and tone you're after... this class is for you.

Fat Burner

(All fitness levels) A fantastic Cardiovascular workout with a toning component. It's a great class to burn fat, tone muscles, increase fitness and have fun.

Dance Inspired
